When you give, we can put your contribution towards the prevention, health and wellness services for those in our community needing it the most.
The 2021 Dr. Robert J. Fass AIDS Walk Ohio will take place on Saturday, April 10, 2021 in Columbus, OH. Over 1,000 walkers, runners, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners from across the state will come together to raise awareness and critical funds for HIV/AIDS support, treatment, and prevention programs.
AIDS Walk Ohio is one of the largest opportunities for the public to give back in this capacity. In just the past eight years, AIDS Walk Ohio has raised over $2 million for AIDS service organizations in Ohio, including Equitas Health, who produces the event and is the primary beneficiary.
The RED Table Design Gala is one of the biggest fundraising events in Dayton. Since its inception in 1996, this biennial event – highlighting the talents, creativity, and imagination of the area’s top designers – has grown into one of the most memorable events in the region, raising nearly $3 million dollars for Equitas Health’s critical healthcare services.
All proceeds from the RED Table Design Gala will benefit the Dayton Medical Center. The Center delivers high quality patient-centered, accessible, cost-effective, and timely primary health care to all; provides high impact prevention, health and wellness services; and is the gateway to good health for those impacted by HIV/AIDS, for the LGBTQ community, and for those who seek a welcoming healthcare home.
Art for Life is a biennial art auction, created in 1989, that has helped raise awareness and approximately $6 million in funding for HIV/AIDS medical care, prevention, education, testing and advocacy services. The event is not only a celebration of the arts community and Equitas Health’s life-saving work, but also a celebration of life and the artists who enrich it. There is a Live and Silent Auction which feature some of the best local and internationally recognized artists. Art for Life 2018 raised over $1,000,000 and had over 1,000 attendees, continuing its legacy as the most successful charity art auction fundraiser in Ohio.
MOVe
The new Equitas Health Mobile Outreach Vehicle (MOVe) will help bridge the gap of healthcare inequity by bringing testing, education, and resources to the patient.
Patients will be able to receive COVID-19 and HIV tests on-site. When the COVID-19 vaccine is available, MOVe will also facilitate distribution of the vaccine. MOVe staff will provide linkage to care services to those who test positive or need to see a provider via telehealth. MOVe will also provide COVID-19 and HIV/STI education as well as distribute personal protective equipment to those in need.
Your support is essential to make this a reality. If you are able, donate today to be a part of this multi-faceted response to the COVID-19 pandemic, while also supporting those most at risk for HIV.
